Great mold for making half bars of soap. I don't have a large order for three bars of soap and with this mold I can make four 5 oz. bars and one 3 oz. bar of soap instead of making a whole batch of 11 bars. This keeps the soap fresh and the customers happy. Yes, the mold will back up if filled with liquid, but there is an easy way around that. Also, I'm not sure why some of the reviews say it's hard to remove the soap cakes from the mold. Could this be because they didn't let the soap fully cure before removing it? I'm not sure. I left my soap in the mold for 48 hours before removing it and it popped right out. It was easy to clean and dishwasher safe. The material is thick so the durability seems stable. The scent also doesn't stay in the mold, so I can make different half-breads with different scents. It also doesn't smudge, which is a plus because I make a lot of turmeric soap and don't have to worry about the turmeric sticking to different soaps. I will definitely be ordering some more once it shows wear and tear. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase.
