Product Details

Fade-Resistant & Long-Lasting Vibrant Colors:Effectively prevents fading and yellowing caused by UV exposure, including from direct sunlight, fluorescent lights, and incandescent lighting. Keeps candles looking true-to-color and vibrant for the long term—perfect for artists, retailers, and display purposes.

Safe & Eco-Friendly:Fully soluble in wax, non-toxic, and clean-burning with no harmful emissions.

High Efficiency at Low Dosage:Highly effective at a recommended dosage of just 0.5% of your total wax weight, offering strong color protection without impacting the burning experience.

Wide Compatibility:Suitable for most wax types (soy, paraffin, beeswax, coconut, palm, etc.) and dyes. Does not affect wax clarity, burn quality, or scent performance.

 Recommended Uses:

Ideal for colored candles that need to maintain color intensity under UV exposure. Great for:

  • Outdoor-use candles
  • Display or decorative candles
  • Artisanal pieces for exhibitions or photography
  • Retail candles sensitive to light and heat

How to Use:

Add when the wax is fully melted and the temperature reaches 65°C–75°C (149°F–167°F).Once evenly mixed, pour the wax directly into the mold.

Note: Avoid overheating (above 85°C), which may reduce effectiveness.

Recommended Dosage:

Standard use: 0.3%–0.5% of total wax weight.
(Example: Add 5g of inhibitor per 1000g of wax.)

You may slightly adjust the amount depending on pigment sensitivity or outdoor use, but avoid excessive dosage to prevent any impact on wax clarity or structure.

Temperature Guidelines

  • Avoid high temperatures (>85°C / 185°F): UV inhibitor may decompose or lose effectiveness.
  •  Avoid low temperatures (<60°C / 140°F): May cause uneven dispersion and affect UV protection.
  • Ideal temperature range: 65–75°C (149–167°F) for optimal dispersion and stability.

Storage:

  • Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
  • Keep away from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight.
  • Recommended storage temperature: 5°C–30°C (41°F–86°F)
  • Keep tightly sealed when not in use to prevent moisture absorption and loss of effectiveness.

Frosting:

Using our UV inhibitor will not cause any changes related to frosting. Frosting on soy wax is a natural result of the crystallization of soybean oil.
