I started pouring concrete matchstick houses in 2021 to sell to my neighbours on my driveway. I wanted to make money to donate to the Niagara SPCA, where I adopted my dog, Titan. One of my very first molds was from Boowan Nicole, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

The studio was born from my desire to transform matter and emotion into form. I’ve always been drawn to manual processes, and I found in wax a living field — something that melts, hardens, and transforms, just like life itself. 

In Tanzania, a small but ambitious NGO called SEE Africa is changing lives. Led by Rahma Mkai, they empower young girls from vulnerable communities.... story coming soon
